    Any team should have a season ticket cap, providing 10-20% of tickets available for individual purchase otherwise you put the game out of reach of a certain type of fan. I don’t believe Saskatchewan will be in danger of selling over 28,000 season tickets, though.

    What will be interesting is whether the schemes implemented by Trestman and his assistants will have a CFL basis and whether Popp can bring in impact players in this Grey Cup host year for Montreal.

    Unfortunately, even Mr. Gaudaur could not protect the CFL from cable TV and bad owners. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

    No Transparency in CFL Cap → Making the contract length and terms filed with the league public like most other leagues would provide enough transparency to CFL fans. Instead the CFL continues to live in the 1970′s, shielding its operations from public scrutiny. #
