Ottawa Bidder Drops Out

In disappointing news, the CFL announced today that the Golden Gate Capital group has withdrawn from the process to land a CFL franchise for Ottawa-Gatineau. Not much more information was available, except that the withdrawal was due to “health concerns of one of the principals”.

Time Starts Dragging: CFL Game Lengths

The CFL‘s game lengths continue to grow and that affects the CFL as an entertainment property. We believe the CFL should review their game length data and make adjustments if necessary to keep game lengths under 3 hours.

CFL Pool Preview Report – Week 17

We came crashing down to earth last weekend as game after game went against our picks and we ended up with a 1-3 record. We will try to get back on track with a three game Thanksgiving week. We think the 2-day wait between games is going to drive us stir-crazy with anticipation.
